Conservation Intervention for Stabilization of Aqueduct Pillars in Skopje

The implementation of the "Aqueduct" project in Skopje is progressing with undiminished intensity and this is the second part of the first phase. It is worth noting that the installation of micropiles is a conservation intervention being applied for the first time in our country on an object that is a protected cultural property, and the very presence at the construction works makes us proud as people who are part of this project but also as NI Conservation Centre Skopje, an institution that takes maximum care for the protection of cultural heritage. Installation of micropiles (tubular self-drilling pipes) is part of the Main Project - Foundation Project and in this phase work is being done on 6 pillars, the most inclined pillars, which will prevent their further tilting i.e. stabilization. The same procedure will be implemented on the remaining pillars provided for in the project.
