Inspection of the Condition of Significant Cultural Heritage "Memorial Ensemble Nova Poshta" in Skopje

By an Expert Team consisting of Meri Tsvetkovska, civil engineer expert doctoral candidate for fire-damaged concrete buildings, Ana Ivanovska, architect, professor, Petar Jovanov, architect and M.A. Nita Mucha, art historian, an initial inspection was conducted for the degree of threat from fire damage to the building. This is part of the Expert Team led by Konstantin Dimitrovski, architect advisor conservator, who will have the task of developing a Project for Reconstruction, Conservation, Restoration and Adaptation based on findings from research works. The main focus of the project is the "Counter Hall" which suffered the greatest degree of threat from the fire that occurred, and the mural by Borko Lazeski was also destroyed. There are also a number of other activities - collection of technical documentation on many bases for additional findings, which are a prerequisite for the development of the project - architecture phase.
