FIELD INSPECTION OF MONASTERY CHURCHES ST. NIKITA-BANJANI, ST. ARCHANGEL AND MICHAEL-KUCHEVISHTE, ST. SALVATION - KUCHEVISHTE, ST. NICHOLAS LJUBOTEN

Field inspections of the profane sacral buildings that are part of the cultural heritage continue continuously. Inspections have been made by an expert team from NI Conservation Center - Skopje of the monastery churches Saint Nikita - village Banjani, Saints Archangel and Michael - village Kuchevishte, Holy Salvation - village Kuchevishte and Saint Nicholas - village Ljuboten. The field inspections are the basis for preparing projects in the part of architecture, fresco painting but also the surrounding accompanying buildings such as the konak quarters and bell towers as part of the monastery complexes. Such is the case with the konak quarters in the church complex Saint Nikita - village Banjani for which a Project for renovation of the konak quarters has been prepared, as well as for the church Saint Nicholas - village Ljuboten for which work is being done on the preparation of an architectural project solution for the existing condition with the installation of transenna and interior plastering as well as the realization of the project for conservation and restoration of the wall painting.
